Up to Lincs - my word every dipshit was out today. Had some spanner rest his front bumper on my right leg as he jumped out from a junction just as I was riding by. Luckily I'd already scrubbed speed as I felt he hadn't bothered looking at me, which was fortunate as I was on roadside gravel by the time the both of us came to rest. I am very good at swearing. I think he understood exactly how I felt about his driving.

Nicest thing I’ve been called in a while

I was quite happy tbh, I thought the noise was a broken spoke or busted disk. Planning on going more knobblie rubber so this isn’t a great sad. It’s done around 600 miles with the fixing, it’ll last 200 more until the service.

Honestly getting tired of starting my mornings this early. Is there a sane person who gets up before 10am? I doubt it.

I have no idea what the whole 1,2,3 thing is and I’ve done one of these. My cop kept encouraging me to go faster - which I didn’t enjoy. Kept wanting me to change down more gears than needed too rather than using the engine’s torque to accelerate out of corners. I did take road position advice from him with approaching traffic and junctions though, and that stuck with me. I enjoyed it, not sure I’d do another.

I’m watching some lad going around Morocco on his Honda AT on the YouTubes. I think I’ll be spending the weekend working out if and when I can go, how, and whether I want to do it solo. Fes/Fez looks blindingly good - and I’ve always wanted to go to the Roman town nearby.
