Listening to a Syrian tonight, it is a difficult subject. He said IS needs removing, but he feels sorry for the young naïve, unwitting fighters. I think IS are dangerous and direct action against them is good, but I don't know why the government switches this to snooping on us so much. I'm more likely to be mugged by a chav or robbed by someone desperate for their next fix than attacked by a radicalised believer. Plus how are we going to be perceived? How easy will this action be manipulated by others as "the West helping the Shia's to attack the Sunnis"?
