  1. I have the GoPro2 and previously had the Hero HD. Really pleased with the GP2 very good quality video and happy with the sound even at high speeds. I do all the video editing with Windows Movie Maker.
  2. Had to call the RAC last week to get the bike home. I had just pulled away from some traffic lights and the bike would not engage into second or higher gear. Nothing went crunch or bang prior to this. My local mechanic has first stripped the left side of the bike and the shift shaft assembly is working fine. He has now stripped the left side, removed the clutch assembly and all is ok with the gear positioning lever/assembly. Next he will be removing the gearbox cassette. Can anybody shed any light into what it might be? Cheers Mick
  3. Did you go with BWDE? Yeah, I went and it was an awesome day. Was you there? I couldn't go. Been to nearly fourty other meets they've had since i joined them in March last year. A chap called Miles (AKA Captain Slow) led the ride to Brecon and apparently he messed up and lost a few riders on the way back ...........was you one them? Friendly and very social group. A good weekly meet up is at the Island Pool in Cookley nr Kidderminster, good laugh and great carvery. Loads of bikers there in the summer. Thinking of doing the Ludlow ride with them on the coming bank holiday, the Honda Owners Club are joining the group for the ride too. Will you be going to that one?
  4. Having new rear PR2 fitted to the Versys tomorrow at Wheel House Tyres. Not much money left after that. You could join this local bike group for ride outs
  5. You've got to be happy with that. I bought my GoPro Hero HD (previous one to the 2 or 3) for £150 a couple of years ago and quality is about the same but sound is much worse than yours. You bought for 87 Pounds??? Bargain!! Here's a vid i took with my GoPro some time ago for you to compare: ">
  6. That album brings back memories. Favourite song is Rock Candy which sometimes i sing (in my head ) when riding my the bike. I met Sammy Hagar in Birmingham on my way to a job interview back in 1980, he was with his wife and young son. I recognized him straight away. He was happy to stop and talk to me and was really chuffed i had a ticket to see him in concert at the Odeon that same evening. Long long time ago..........i was just 22. Bat out of hell is another motorbike type song.
  7. These aren't road legal (although i have them on my versys) but a little brighter http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-OSRAM-H7-65W-OFF-ROAD-RALLY-HEADLAMP-BULB-12v-65W-PX26d-64217-01B-/310803067624?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item485d4e72e8

  9. You might want to have a play with this: http://www.gearingcommander.com/
  10. I nod at every biker, even at the classic scooterists. A few years ago i rode with some mates in Italy, Slovenia and Croatia, there they nod, wave or dangle a leg out. They mostly did the leg out and it's what i do now to a group of bikers. Mick
