  1. ok its not earthing and its not starter solenoid. i think its r/r ohms are ok however its overcharging.
  2. The problem is i don't know where earth connector is. There is one cable which is connected to engine. Any one know where earth connector is on YBR?
  3. Hello Bikers I need your help, My AJS Eco start playing with me. When i turn key on everything work perfect every light come on etc, but when i press starter all lights go off till I release starter button also there is one loud click from solenoid. However its not the issue, when im driving at night and i got Headlight on and i press brake, headlight is dimming nearly to the minimum. When i kick engine everything works fine ok till i press starter button which cause engine stall and all electric goes off till i release it. It is possible that solenoid cause that electrical issues? So far i checked: Battery (its new and multimeter says 12.4v) when engine on its says 12.5v till i switch headlight on then it says 8v. I checked ALL wiring and connectors and all of them seems to be like new. Stator Ohms are 0.49 Regulator gives power around 16v at 5k rpm and 3.5amp (regulator ohms tested and are 0.9-1.1) BTW i replaced all fuses to new one but nothing change Thanks guys
  4. no this happened when sport filter was on i put original back to check if something will change but engine behaviour same bad as with sport filter on.
  5. Exhaust is fine, but air filter hmm. This engine behavior comes up when i had sport air filter on, now i put standard one. You thing that sport (cheap) air filter might cause this by bad filtration?
  6. Hi guys I need help with my bike. Last week my bike start to behave suspicious. Little bit louder Alot of shots from exhaust when rev from over 4k rpm When going faster than 40mph every time I leave throttle and start accelerate again it losses power for 1sek maybe half, it feels like no fuel delivery or too much fuel. Anyone got idea what might happened? I will check engine compression soon. Carb mixture is adjusted properly, valves as well. Also i will say that speed is normal and power is same as before. There is no problem with starting it starts first time but after longer run idle goes low below 1k rpm.
  7. Sorry for not replaying Bike is riding without any problems its riding like a new. Its not turning it self or something like that. I will try to straight forks then. However i tested my motorbike on Dyno test after i done some modifications and its not 10hp anymore its 16hp Printout will upload later when i will modified it more and pass my first MOT.

    MOT Frame

Hi guys! My friend got YBR125 and soon he will have to pass his first MOT test. Problem is that frame of his bike is slightly bended to the left (he felt down). I check MOT check list and there is nothing mentioned about frame exept corrosion or rust. Handlebar is not touchung fuel tank and this frame is not cousing any problems during riding, braking or turning. I took out all panels and other stuff to check the frame ageins some rust, corrosion and cracs but frame looks new. It is even dificult to find out that frame is bended. Will he pass his MOT with this? I attach some image i made.
  11. Hi mate I got AJS ECO which got exactly same engine as ybr-125. I had same proplem once, and this was valve clerance screw which disassembly and drop into oil pan so check your valves first if its not the problem tell me i will try to help.
  12. Thank you I forgot about picture.
  13. I had to visit my family in Aberdeen but i paid for that i cannot move for 2 days Mostly i used A roads not motorway better views I done it in 14 hours:D NEVER AGAIN ON 125cc:D
  14. Hi Bikers I would like to review my motorbike which is AJS ECO E2 Js-125 These is my first bike, I had a lot of choice like YBR-125, SYM XS125, Piaggio x9 or Phantom 125. I haven't chosen ybr125 because it was too expensive for me, Sym has bad seat and I decide to not buy a scooter because I want to do full licence for manual. So my choice becomes AJS ECO, my first impressions hasn't been positive because of how its look like and it is Chinese, however I decided to buy it. On my first ride from dealer to home was 60km and that was the first time on manual motorbike but after few engine stalls I learn how to handle this beast. When I bought it 4 months ago it was second hand and was 4000km on the clock at the moment there is 15000km on the clock and I can say straight away that whose bike is much better than any YBR125 or SYM XS125. This bike can be used as a commuter but also as a short range Tourer, because my hobby is to ride a bike at night and on farm roads : lol: I already tried to ride for a long time and successfully done 980 km in one go. Good Points: -No maintenance needed except oil, tyres and brakes. -Stock can go maximum 60mph but after changing sprockets, tuning carb and changing valve clearance my bike is going maximum 89mph GPs checked. -Best rider and bike protection if fell down, I fell down once during the ride and have been knocked off the car on parking and no scratches or injuries at all except mirror and crash bar. -Extremely economical, in town 30-40mph 2l/100km and at 70mph 3-4l/100km -Nice acceleration for 125 same fast as YZF125 -YBR125 engine and all parts can be fitted so good quality, easy and cheap parts. -All other parts can be bought from Ajs website very cheap and with fast delivery. -Beautiful exhaust sound nice and deep and at the 9krpm sport bike sound BEAUTIFUL screams. -After 15000km Never broke down -No oil burning Bad Points: -Head Light is not good enough so think about HID conversion -Brakes are not good enough if compared with XS125 or YBR. Advice: -Use 10w-40 oil not 10w-30 it will give much better protection and lower engine temperature. -Fit good tyre straight away like Pirelli because the bike needs better grip. -Use bike at higher RPM because this gearbox doesn't like low RPM Would you get another? The answer is easy YES!!! At the end I will say that don't worry about reviews or opinions and buy this bike Insurance is 40 pounds cheaper than YBR. Sorry about my English but I'm learning. If got any questions comment RIDE SAFE BROTHERS AND SISTERS.
