  1. I'm up for Squires if the dates are right
  2. Bit of a disagreement between my wife and I. Is walking a means of transport? Exciting Fridays in our house eh?
  3. I have a Caberg Duke its convenient in that I can have a conversation clearly, I flip it up when buying fuel and have never been asked to remove it by forecourt staff before a purchase. Best thing is the open air feeling when locked in the open position with sun visor down. Rubbish at speed though.
  4. Home and damp and windswept. Thanks everyone for the top weekend. What a party! As a new face to the meet, I felt warmly welcomed and left with a smile. To all those who haven't been, DO IT NEXT TIME
  5. Been home a couple of minutes, side winds most of the way and some big downpours. Waterproof gear isn't what it claims to be. Had to stop for the .winds, it's no fun swaying into the next lane with a vehicle there also. Thanks to all for being made welcome and can put faces to names, last night's entertainment as amazing, the locals must have thought so too. Will be at next years without a doubt.http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/08/18/gumyzyne.jpg Hope everyone makes it home safely.

  7. I will have a 12v pump for mine and the tyres if needed
  8. was the hamster wheel powering the broadband router?? He might as well have been such us the condition of the line wiring, aluminum phone wire doesn't really go with a modern telecoms world but BT refuse to give at least copper line. When it works I can live with it but when it rains heavily the broadband reduces in speed and the software BT uses to control everything kicks in to stabilise the service without errors on the line and so superfast becomes regular. Hamster power is the key.
  9. Broadband is dead also, amazing how its so integrated into ones life
  10. 3 funerals in 2 weeks. Mother in law died after massive heart surgery... Daughters hamster got sick and died, buried in our pet cemetery Wife's 10 year old rabbit dead last night and also buried. Have peeps in bits all the time. F**k life sometimes
  11. I feel as though I'm travelling light after reading some posts Tent Sleeping bag Mattress Clothing Cook stuff Some other bits and pieces. Still no one travelling from up north who needs a riding partner?
  12. Anyone travelling from the north/northeast?
  13. Locked my keys in topbox this evening while preparing for a 3-4 day trip around Scotland. BOTH F!"£$%G SETS! I'm pleased plastics are flexible to a degree and bungee hooks they are saviours. Could even be 'Knob of the day'
  14. Thank you all for the replies, I think the offer reflects the injuries, 9 broken bones and internal bleeding is serious enough. I have given up some things as the movement in the affected area is reduced and is uncomfortable. I hope my joint doesn't worsen when I'm older, I'd hate to have surgery and a falsie.
