Pumped the brake lever a lot yeh and took it a quick run along my driveway while braking. When i say force it was steady pressure but i had to put a lot of steady pressure into it, like as much as i could. I will take the caliper off again later and see if the pistons come all the way out.

used genuine Honda pads, nothing leaked out, and no bits left over. i did have a little trouble pushing the pistons back in so i used a bit of force on them after a quick clean.

Ive just changed my front brake pads and now i have to pull the brake almost all the way in to get it to kick in, it stops me much better without any squealing etc but i still think its not right that i have to pull the lever until its almost touching the handlebar. What could i have done wrong or forgot to do to cause this?

I've had problems with mine. Voltage regulator(i think) stopped battery charging and i ended up on the side of the road. The back brake likes to stick sometimes but apparently that's me needing to clean it as i ride it all year round and never clean in winter. Also have a strange high pitched noise coming from somewhere around the fuel tank which ill have the garage look at when its in for a service that's due soon. Bike is a 2013 model.

I carry stuff in my bag to sort my hair only for work though. The rest of the time I just run my hands through it and leave it messy. I wouldn't be going on any dates on my bike or anywhere where I need to look tidy except work.
