Trying to keep the stock look and mounting points.

I've got a YZF600R Thundercat and the mirrors just aren't long enough for me to see as much as I would like behind. They have a flat head hex bolt fixing into captive nuts attached to the front subframe. The hole spacing, center to center is (as close as I can tell) 47mm and the stem length from mirror to mounting plate is about 75mm. If anyone can help me find a bike that has the same fixing dimensions but a longer stem I would really appreciate it so I can maybe source some mirrors from eBay.

If your insurance company asks for a Thatcham Cat1 or even a Cat2, look on the Thatcham website which lists all the approved ones. One interesting fact on the site is that a lot of alarms that were Cat1 are now expired and are only regognised as such if they were fitted before the date they expired. HTH

Does anyone recognize what make of alarm this is? Hihave etalks riders a new to this forum and have a question about this topic. I have a Yamaha Thundercat at with a standard screen and wind protection is not bad. I'm 6foot 2ins and Ito wondering if a double bubble screen will divert the blast from my chest to helmet? Can any tallish riders tell me their experiences?
