Hi All, i am in need of some help i have a Sinnis Vista 125CC that i use for work about a 40 mile round trip, so the issues are: 1) When starting off feels good, sounds ok and overall has power and is nice to ride but after about 20 mins of riding it will start to splutter on acceleration if i go to over take or pull away after a stop or if i pull the throttle to hard it will feel like no petrol is getting trough. Some times it has backfired on me as well. 2) When engine is warm and i stop at a red light or in traffic for a bit the revs with drop and the bike will cut out and is hard to start again, if i pull the choke out to hold the revs up it is ok? 3) i have fitted new back brake shoes and i can adjust them up so they feel nice to brake but a have squeeking so if i adjust it to stop the noise a have a pedal like a sponge? All help is welcome on all or some of the issues, i know it is not the best bike in the world but i have put a lot of effort in to trying to restore the bike and keep it on the road. Hi all Bike: sinnis vista 125 I have a knocking noise at high revs bike sits ok at idle. Checked values all ok just had oil change all ideas welcome Thanks

I have replaced that before I got the new battery to be honest there is not much I didnt replace but thanks for the info helps confirm I was right to replace it

OK so latest update is replaced starter relay did not fix issue so took the battery down to parts shop they tested it and say the bike had over charged the battery and cooked the insides so fitted new one and is OK for now I hope. big thanks to you all for the help.

Hi All, OK here is the latest I have tested and replaced. I have replaced the rectifier/regulator. I have had spark plug out and ticked bike over spark looks OK. I have charged new battery over night. bike really hard to start took about 10 mins to start today and stopped to fill up bike would not start and I give it a good run before stopping to fill up. I am lost as to what it could be my next step would be the starter motor but any ideas would be of great help. thanks Lee.

It is about 15 miles to work all 30 roads is that to short?

I got the battery from sinnis about 3 weeks ago so battery is good and when I test it it shows 13.5v so must be something on the bike

Hi All, I am new to the bike world as I have only been riding since October last year but i know a bit about engines (cars mainly) so this is my issue. Bike: Sinnis Vista QM 125cc Problem: Bike will not start but once running it runs great so I have replaced battery and was ok for a day or two and then same issues bike just clicks on start (elec starter), so I have put a digital multimeter on battery it shows 13.5V but once you press starter it drops to 2.33V and bike will not start. if I change battery or make battery warm (leave on radiator) bike starts fine. I have put the digital multimeter in-line with battery and found a draw on the rectifier could this cause both issues? thank you for any help on this.
