  1. Or it did it take 145 miles trying to get it to stop?
  2. Ebay classified. Pretty cheap, one off fee and not subject to the usual Ebay listing and final value selling fees etc. I've always had positive outcomes. You'll get your usual chances but just ignore them.
  3. I'd declare any performance mods, but not cosmetic mods. Wouldn't expect to recoup the cost of the cosmetic mods in the event of a claim.
  4. I used the same app on Android. Covered All the questions. Just keep going through it until you know all the answers.
  5. I got told it would be marked down as a "minor" error.
  6. I got diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy back in 2012 via a gene test for the mutated gene. My sister was diagnosed first as she was having heart problems. Had my genetic test at Addenbrooks in Cambridge. Got my confirmed diagnosis on the eve of the Olympic games in London. A day I will never forget. Shocked was an understatement. I'd had various heart scans including a cardiac MRI but all the results were "inconclusive", but given I was running marathons week in, week out was always told that I had nothing to worry about. Needless to say, a negative result was a forgone conclusion. Didn't quite change my life overnight, but almost. Ran a marathon the following day and then another one the day after. I was already due to see one of the UKs top HCOM specialists in London prior to the genetic test anyway. After that appointment my life changed overnight. No more marathons or ultra-marathons. No more stressing the heart. Still run 40+ mile weeks but at an easy intensity, much to her consternation. Had my daughter tested in 2014. She is also gene positive. That was another kick in the nuts. Fortunately she hasn't developed an enlarged heart yet. She will be 14 in a couple of weeks. In hindsight, I am probably lucky to be alive. You often hear about super fit, experienced runners who aren't so lucky, dropping dead at the finish line. I could have been one of them. Its been a very bitter pill to swallow, but you just deal with it and move. That's life. @Akay17 See your GP and request a referral for a genetic test. You are entitled to one. Normal protocol is to genetically test the whole family.
  7. Looking at his Mrs..... Think he made the correct choice.
  8. Mines up to. £88, £400 excess or £96, £100 excess?
  9. £15,100 OTR in the UK. Other than the price.....what's not to like?
  10. Too much interweb porn....makes you go blind apparently.....
  11. @fastbob Feck. Thought I'd check in and see the finished article. Not even started. Back to the Capital Punishment thread for entertainment.
  12. Took out a 4G broadband with 3. Cancelled it within hours of the router arriving. £15 a month for unlimited data. Sounds good. It was until neither me or the Mrs's work laptops couldn't connect due to using a VPN. Called 3, yes that's right we block VPNs. FFS. Why didn't they say this up front, especially with so many people working from home at the moment. Got Virgin Media down to £22.77 a month from £39.78, so not too bad in the end.
  13. Wife and daughter started in the summer. They still go out 3 times a week or I will take the daughter out when the wife is injured/can't be arsed* - * delete as appropriate. Stick at it. Great for controlling weight and mental health. I run around 45 miles per week over 7 days, week in week out but a long way from my 70+ mile weeks I used to run. I've taken approx 4 st off in weight and kept it off. Complete change in lifestyle. Not easy, but you get out of it exactly what you put into it.
