  1. Thank you! Really helpful and its cleared this up for me. I have a day training tomorrow and will again check with the instructors when I'm riding that I'm doing the correct observations!
  2. Hello All, I'm getting myself a bit confused with my lifesavers, particualy when moving off from junctions and roundabouts. Say I come to a T junction and I want to turn right, I stop at the line, look left, look right, nothing coming, then should I be doing life savers over both shoulders before I move off? Also, what is the case with roundabouts, I stop because, for example, something is coming and I need to wait to move off, should I be doing life savers over both shoulders again? Even if I am stopping for a second or two? My gut instinct is to do the checks, they are calledl life savers for a reason, but I was confused!! Any advice is greatly welcome as my mod2 test is immiment!
  3. whoo hoo!!!! well done!!!! I have mine next week.. Fingers crossed
  4. Try not to worry about it too much! I failed my mod1 test a couple of weeks ago too, I had no minors but buggered up the u turn... and like you, I have had to wait a good couple of weeks for my retake (next Tuesday!). You just got to keep going until you pass. Annoying as it is expensive but we will get there in the end. Good luck for next time
  5. I feel a bit better after reading this thread. I had a total melt down yesterday during my mod1 training after dropping/falling off the bike twice practising u turns! I was fine the first time, then I over thought it. All the other maveouvers were fine. It just totally knocked my confidence. I came away wondering if I made a big mistake going through all of this. Feeling better todday, and going back tomorrow for more trainng before my test on Thursday. I'm sure I will crack it.
