  1. I don’t need 99.9% of the shit I own, but if I didn’t have them, I’d have to talk to the Mrs!
  2. Gerbing failures are always, always the connector. Now mines out of warranty, I’ve just bought a couple of their extension cables from their website and use those to do the repairs myself (on the jacket, at least). Glad you got it sorted, but yeh, the connectors are truly woeful (for Gerbing, anyway).
  3. So I received the seat… and it is rock effing hard. It’s certainly thicker than the stock seat but it might as well be a length of 4x2. Absolutely solid slab of a seat. “Comfort” my arse. I think I’d have more comfort sitting on the tank.
  4. Although i have zero faith in the abrasion resistance above 20mph.
  5. I bought a couple of Spada hoodies from SBS when they were on sale a few weeks back. I really like them, and no, the hood doesn't act like a sail. (And that's on a naked!).
  6. Yeh… but your exhaust is a bit noisy, mate. Piss taker. Too right that they dispatch a meat wagon with 15 rozzers inside to pull you over and fine you.
  7. Of all the problems facing the UK today, noisy exhausts on 0.1% of the vehicles on the roads doesn’t seem like a priority to me. I’d rather they focused on stopping the ***** stealing bikes, first.
  8. I’m expecting a pair of hand to massage my arse cheeks for this price.
  9. I’ve had a moment of madness and bought a £300 seat from Wunderlich.
  10. Booked a 6-dayer into France/Belgium/Germany/Luxembourg/Switzerland. Have to do a factory visit in Strasbourg so thought i'd ,ake a trip out of it on the M1000R. My arse is aching just thinking about sitting on that seat for prolonged periods. Any cushion recommendations? Bought some memory foam and a cheap air cushion from amazon.
  11. I think the new stuff is up there already mate. (And cheaper than the Bull-it website).
  12. While at the MCn Bike show, i had a nose at the Bull-It Jeans stand. Having previously purchased their jeans for summer riding, i found i could get the right fit; they were either too long, too baggy, too tight or too short etc. However, they have just launched a new range, which they claimed fit like traditional jeans, and i have to say, the fit is now absolutely spot on. I went with the Grey, slim-fit Jean. Definitely worth a look if you're in the market for something more casual in the summer months. https://www.bull-it.com/
  13. All i know is every off i've had i've been fortunate enough to have worn armor, and my pointy bits have always come out unscathed (excluding fingers). The fact that it just exists within the clothing, and isn't some additional faffery to put on makes me question why anyone would consider taking it out.
  14. Yeh by overlander 30ltr bag. Last time i did this trip on the S100R, the bag swung under the bike and ended up getting wedged in the back wheel
  15. Got a cheeky 5 day trip down to Strasbourg in April, so have ordered this for the bike: Quite a tidy little rack, and saves ruining the rear panels.
