Problem sorted. Fired her up when I got home from work and she purred like a kitten until she warmed up. Then, same problem. Turns out she was overheating. The oil was black and had the viscosity of water. I changed the oil and took her out for a spin. She ran a bit lumpy to start but soon settled down and I was out for nearly an hour with no sign of the problem. I've only had the bike for a month and was told it had been serviced shortly before I bought it. I guess the service didn't include an oil change. I plan to change the oil again in the near future because I didn't change the filter tonight but, for now, I have my bike back. Sent from my D6603 using Tapatalk
