  1. If different types of antifreeze are mixed together (organic and non organic) they can react and form a horrible gel. When I changed the antifreeze in my FJR I followed the recommended procedudure which was to drain and flush the cooling system twice using distilled water then refill with a 50/50 mixture of antifreeze and distilled water.
  2. I work in a garage fixing cars and have a 3/4" drive socket set. Plus a 3/4" impact gun. Probably used them a total of 15 times in the last 10 years. I don't think someone will use them much on a DIY basis maintaining their motorcycle so a lifetime guarantee is hardly worth worrying about!
  3. I'd like to know what 'idiot' gave you a car and left it registered in their name. You have technically broken the law by not registering it in your name and if the boys mum suspects you are a part-time dealer and makes a big enough noise, you may have the taxman etc looking into your affairs.
  4. Or just get a set for less than half that price off of Amazon. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Silverline-6336 ... +mm+socket
  5. Been to the south of France/Italy (where there are some good roads) for the last four years running and I've always found the first 4-500 miles of France to be utter shite! Mind you, we weren't heading through the bit you are going to. Really looking forward to hearing how you get on. We did turn left at Calais one year and went through Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Germany was great, Belgium was crap. Avoid it if you can.
  6. I have a pair of blue Hoeshot draggin jeans and they don't look like the normal big baggy Kevlar jeans that you see. Fairly well fitted. Not cheap though.
  7. Worry is interest paid on a debt not yet due.
  8. Don't believe anything you hear and only half of what you see.
  9. I just look for the knee pads to sit in the right position. Draggin jeans do a good range if you are looking for skinny fit ones but they ain't cheap. I have the Holeshot Draggin jeans and they do fit well.
  10. And repeat things. I say repeat things.
  11. Perfectly normal Stops when they leave home.
  12. Wales. Where you can get food, clothing and sex from the same animal.
