Thanks for that Phil. I suspect that the R1 would be too manic for me on the roads. I love my wee Thundercat, and the R6 is probably the next logical step up

have you re-connected the throttle cable back onto the carbs correctly? When you twist the throttle grip on the handle bar and let it go again, does the throttle snap back onto the idle screw on the carb?

Phil, Could I ask you a question? In your honest opinion, is the R1 more fun to ride than the R6? Great review btw
