  1. Ordinary vinegar will remove the rust if you can buy it cheap enough. I found an old gin trap buried in a field, had been there years and was very rusty. I'd just been reading about someone cleaning a rusty petrol tank out with vinegar so I thought I'd give it a try. I left the gin trap soaking for 24 hours but when I took it out it didn't really look much different, so I put it back and left it another two days and I was amazed at the results, it even functioned properly when I set it. http://i590.photobucket.com/albums/ss349/kevegg/IMG_1079.jpg http://i590.photobucket.com/albums/ss349/kevegg/IMG_1085.jpg
  2. Wait 'til he goes away on holiday and go round all the local pet shops buying as many mice, gerbils, hamsters, etc., as you can and drop them one at a time through his letter box. It's surprising how much they can chew through in a week. Sent from my S Club 7.
  3. I went to see my doctor, he's a cockney, he asked how he could help me, I said "I've got a rash", he said "I'll be as quick as I can then".
  4. Glad I passed my test in 1978 when you didn't have to bother with all this CBT stuff. Having said that, I wonder how many of those who lost their lives back then would still be with us if they'd had to have some training instead of been handed the keys to a 250 and off you go. Don't be put off by a bad experience, it's like been at normal school, some teachers love what they do and are great at getting across what they are trying to teach you, others hate being in the place and can't wait to get out at the end of the day. Hopefully this time you will find someone to encourage you and bring out the best in you. Please do keep going with it, it's a great feeling when you finally lose the L plates. Sent from my Commodore 64.
  5. That's the Whistlestop cafe at Whitby, it gets rammed on a Thursday night through the summer.
  6. Hope you had a good ride, it was lovely over here in Scarbados. Would have had a ride over to Squires but I dislocated my shoulder last week so no bikes for a couple of weeks.
  7. Log cabin at Fimber (down the hill from Seaways) Wednesday nights, also GMEC bike shop (on Scarborough side of Staxton roundabout on A64) on same night, Whistlestop cafe in Whitby on a Thursday night. Not sure when these start but it won't be long if not already.
