  1. Shaved a hedgehog the other day, it was pointless
  2. Go pro hero 1, great on 60fps at 720p, awful at 30fps at 1080p. Love them but it's a bit bulky, camera for £100, memory for about £25 and a mounting kit for about £10
  3. The thing is I didn't really know what to expect but I felt I should post it as the most direct way to introduce myself around here. I can't sit and give it to people not only 10x the experience I have or 10x the power in their bike, but most of all we are all on the same team, and I love the community. Glad i've done it and acknowledged what people are telling me, i'm heading out with a few older harley riders (my friends mum lol!) to mayday and a ton of rallies over this year and next and looking forward to learning a lot. Will do my best to give the uk bikers a faithful image and not get smeared Thanks everyone
  4. Hello chaps, I make the ride to sevenoaks area and always see cafes full of bikes and bikers on the road. Just wanted to see if anyone is from there on this forum and wanted to know if anyone wouldn't mind putting up with a knob on a 125 for a ride out Many thanks
  5. Having alot of fun. Its as difficult as I thought it would be but i'm getting there. Going to try this for a few hours every week to get myself more relyant on foresight and observation than relying on a brake system that wont be the same whatever bike I have from here till the last day. Il make sure to gopro it next time so we can all have a laugh
  6. Haha you get to the lights and you're like "come on, come on, come on, f**king lights, channnngeeeeee" Limehouse has three cameras both ways, one at each entrance and one in the middle where you either join from canary wharf way or turn off for the canary wharf roundabout , They aren't that up to date though, filtering seems to throw them off. Don't talk about the A2 you can fly down there easy on a bike, especially since all the normal cameras are down with the roadworks that seem to have been going on for a year now. See so many bikes rip through the A2 haha. Westbeef, we've all established i'm a dickhead here haha, don't be in a rush to throw it through traffic. I got my overconfidence from following bikers (which ironically i'd still say is a good way to learn) I used to be hesitant at many filter opportunities but seeing a bigger bike get through gives me the incentive to follow suit. That and I usually like the bike for work because it means I get an extra half hour lie in, and my boss doesn't have a tracker on my bike. Come out for a ride one day if you are near london
  7. Got to be beef flavoured I thought you said they were chinese flavoured Attention span of a humming bird (when off the road, at least)
  8. Haha well I got to where I am working wise by listening and following people with a lot more experience and knowledge than me. I can't come in against most of the opinions here, I understand a van is a big difference. Since riding I always check my mirrors more and give a large a gap as I can for bikers (it is hard changing between the two, I can't filter a van apparently haha). I am still skeptical about an advanced course, but I will take your challenge up this weekend and let you know how I get on, I really like the idea. Many thanks all of you for the honesty

    Help please

Green is usally nuetral and purple is live with chinesse wiring. If you can't find any information like tango said try bnq for a multi meter (they do one for 20 quid) and play around with it till you find the right connections. (Make sure to be careful using resistance (ohms) meter if you are new to multi meters) Got any pics?
  10. Hammerite do a rust remover compound that works pretty well. A fine grit pad on a multi tool would be the best. Could shot blast it with silicone grain but tidying up will be a pain in the ass
  11. Take a look at your near miss video with cars pulling out from side roads and you needing to use your ABS to prevent an accident. Every Single one of those situations could have been avoided with proper training. As has already been said, you are riding on Luck and not Skill or experience. the sooner you develop some skills the better for all road users! Duely noted. But in terms of all road users... f**k cyclists! I once had a cyclist cut me up whilst filtering with a chain of about 20 bikes behind me. He sort of panicked looked behind and hit the back of a dump truck, was hysterical! This and the amount of times you see a cyclist pull deliberately infront of a bike. And anyone who rides with headphones in, i mean what's up with that? Ima try slowing down, ive seen some points from what you guys have said, im going to keep wide as I go past side roads. I wont stop filtering because ive found that more dangerous than anything. Please do understand that these vids make up about 5% of my time on the road. I am very respectful to road users when I am not f**king them off into the blackwall tunnel walls
  12. I see that and thought "okayyy I get that but..." Fair play to him and thanks for finding out, top man
  13. Managed to fix the problem by adjusting the tension from the clutch end, spent about 14 hours over the weekend tweak and testing and happy to say I have no longer grief. I tried the following - re routing the cable (no improvement) - removing the cable and changing gear with a screwdriver in the cable hold (worked fine, trying to rule out clutch cable vs. disk selection etc) - adjusting lever end - adjusting clutch end Everytime I adjusted I tried changing from a stand still, up a gear, down a gear and coasting and managed to find a sweet spot eventually. Then I went on a long ride out to fully test it, stopped at a cafe and let the bike cool and normalize itself before getting back on it and still had no issues. Many thanks for the advice! If I can offer some from myself; the best way to avoid clutch problems is not to throw your bike round a roundabout like a chinese gymnast with a hula hoop
