  1. I had just bought vehicle from a insurance salvage company ten minutes prior to taxing it in post office with no V5 just by using v62.. but as said all sorted
  2. No you can take it into the post office pay the £25 fee and they verify it and you can tax the vehicle there and then and a v5 is posted out in due course Did it with my car 4 months ago
  3. Go into post office form v62 if no green slip and tax it there
  4. Enough to cause damage to a car means get bike checked over as rear wheel could be misaligned , swingarm bearings could be flattened , same as wheel bearings etc etc

Be very careful of strapping a bike in a luton unless it has floor mounted anchor points . The side fixing rails are normally glued/bonded to the walls and can peel off even though apparently rated to a substantial restraint force .. Also the height of a luton is a pain unless it has a tail lift and then its a ball ache as bike had to go side on the lift and has to be turned with literally an inch either side of the wheels to move And don't ever try transporting a gtr1400 in a luton ... its a struggle ....
  6. Dont forget it may not have a TPO but may be in a conservation area which also requires applying for works . Giant reds known for being fire redartent until your sat 60ft in the air in one and your chsinsaw keeps setting alight to its matting outer layer .... Get a proffesional in and make sure their fully insured etc ... if it goes wrong then you have some comeback Or even discuss it with your home insurance if its having a detrimental effect on the insured property ..
  7. None of these are in Pembrokshire but some of the roads mentioned by others above in the midwales are featured here . https://youtu.be/YXpZFDKCvGw https://youtu.be/kFgN46s3l74 https://youtu.be/roWN8gMNWtQ https://youtu.be/dyq659AnT2k
  8. Look at places you may want to visit I.e Pendine Sands ... long expanse of sand 7 miles used for land speed records in the past and at allowable times you can take vehicles on. Tenby . Nice little town and classed as the Welsh Riveria . Strumble Head ... lovely coastal area . Llyn Brianne reservior and dam. Preseli mountains ... scenic views and nice open roads BUT watch for cattle grids and free roaming livestock . Road surfaces in the areas can be horrendous due to lack of repair and farming industry related debris depending on time of year . Some areas are still a bit behind in times ( ie no 24hr shops/fuel ) Mobile signal is reasonable but some areas can a struggle especially in buildings. Coast road to cardigan is ok but can get frustrating with other road users. Milford Haven avoid as its a shit hole. Just remember most Welsh A roads are similar to Good B roads in England B Roads are generally poor b roads A40 to fishguard ranges from Dual carriageway to single carriageway Anything else are single lane roads but are heavily used especially by the google navigating tourisrts or locals .
  9. Check out kawasaki er-5 not sure if smaller etc but er5 is built around the gpz500
  10. Registered keeper is that ... V5 Document states not proof of ownership Best to speak to finance and state her needs and request they reposses but she is still liable for payments as she signed the agreement As bike is technically in her name re finance etc she can approach police
  11. How about check chain tension ? Chain elongates as gets warmer hence more slack increasing the lack of pressure on gearbox which can create a clunk when gear changing Also check chain condition for damaged rollers Check sprocket conditions also
  12. Why bother with shuffle ? It is best to Use which ever foot is appropiate when coming to rest . Left foot down , bike in gear , rear brake applied or . Right foot down, allows neutral selection and bike held either by riders stance or front brake Plan ahead, look at the camber/ layout and pick a foot . It is not mandatory to use the left foot only.

    Car brakes

So they took on a job without knowledge or expertise of that job on a Safety critical item and you want to save their embarrassment ?
  14. Try and find a cyclist that does less than 10mph these days ....
