Update on this season. I have entered 9 won my class in 4, finished 2nd in 4 and one 5th. im 2nd in the championship with 1 round to go. I cant win it as I haven't done the full season, but can consolidate 2nd. All in all a great season for my first year in the sport. Roll on next year.

So true, I had a blast and have got the bug now for more.

On the 11th sep I entered my first ever trial at the age of 54 lol. I decided to enter the growing world of classic twin shock trials bikes on a 37 year old British built Beamish Suzuki RL250. A lovely hot sunny day greeted my first taste of competition, I was nervous and nearly didn't enter it, I wrongly thought I wasn't ready, having only 5hrs riding time on the bike. My girlfriend gave me the push to do it and I'm so grateful she did, Had a great day and even surprised myself. The trial was an open trial, so any age of bike could enter, they were just put in the relevant class, mine being Twin shock division .
