T180985 Posted July 27, 2015 Share Posted July 27, 2015 ok ive not done any track days for 2-3 years and ive only been back on a bike for 6 weeks after a 18 month break.... im looking to get on a track day at brands hatch but unsure what group to go for? I always used to go for Inter's and was reasonable confident but not sure if i should go novice considering its been some time since then? any thoughts? Mr Fro Posted July 27, 2015 Share Posted July 27, 2015 How confident are you feeling now then?Nowt wrong with being the fastest in the noddy group although it can be a bit tiresome getting stuck in traffic but it is a boost knowing you're spanking everyone else!However, I doubt it's very much fun being the traffic in inters but you'll probably pick up your pace quicker with a higher tack speed and people to follow.Brands isn't anywhere near complex so if you know which lines to take then you should be able to hold your own pretty well.
