Sewing into Cordura ?

Recommended Posts

I went and tired on this pair of kevlar jeans and really wanted to buy them, but the knee pads and double kevlar lining were too low for my short legs.

I'm set on getting this pair though as all the others had a horrible fit.

Is there a way I can sew a pocket into the Cordura to put the knee pads in? Or attach them some other way..?

They just need to be in the right place upon initial impact.

You might find that once you're sat on your bike that they're actually in the right place. I didn't look what bike you have but 9 times out of 10 your legs will be bent slightly which will bring the pads upwards.

The only trouble I can see is that there's protective fabric at the bum & knees......so, if you move the knee armour you may not have the protective fabric in the right place......but, otherwise you should be ok..... 8-)
