Crusty old helmets..

Recommended Posts

No! Not that helmet! I seem to have gathered a collection of old crash helmets that I no longer need/want. They are all decent condition but are passed their sell-by date. Any suggestions of what I can do with them, is there a specific place I can take them to be used/recycled or whatever? It just seems a waste to chuck them in the normal recycling or to take them down the dump.

Or turn them over and use them as plant pots

Think you can donate then to the fire brigade for their training.

Or turn them over and use them as plant pots

999: what service do you require?

You: fire brigade please

999: what's the emergency?

You: I've got a crusty old helmet I want to give to the nice firemen...

999: pervert.... (hangs up)

Haha! I could just pop down the local station and calmly ask one of them if they would like to use my helmet..
