Rattle from bandit

There's an rattle that appears between about 4k and stops around 6k, seems to be coming from the top of the engine some where, sounds like it's directly below the fuel tank. Maybe nothing to worry about but it bugs me. Started last weekend after a 300 mile trip

Sounds like a cam chain tensioner related issue to me!

When they wear out they can provide less tension at certain parts of the rev range as they don't respond properly any more.

What is the mileage on the bike?

The fairing on mine rattles even though it's all tightened.

Aye. My tank has an annoying resonance at a certain rev range when about half full. It's tightened down and doesn't appear to touch anything. One day I'll sort it out. Just not today. Or even tomorrow. :-)

Don't suppose you can bung a vid up?

I'll try and get a video up soon, see if that helps, it's not a loud rattle. I'm still under warranty so maybe worth popping in past the dealer

Take it down there, If theres a problem and its under warranty get it down there.

Get it back to the dealer if it's under warranty.

If you haven't bought a Haynes for it yet you can have my old one as I no longer have a Bandit.

Will stress it's well used, I had two mark 2 bandits over a 8 year peroid ( first one got written off, just traded in the second one for my present bike)
