Dylanbrown
Hi. I'm having a bit of an issue with my GPZ. Recently after a ride, my mate told me my lights were off. Turns out a fuse had blown. Changed the fuse and then had working side and main but no indicators. Changed the flasher unit and still no indicators. Now the side light doesn't work but still have headlamp working. Cleaned all block connectors, but still all 4 indicators are out. I'm now thinking there must be something else that has failed in the loom? Do the indicators have a fuse? If so where? Thanks Dylan
eastanglianbiker
is there not a set of fuses under a cover in the centre of the handlebars on that model by the ignition switch?
Dylanbrown
I don't know. I will pop out and have a look...
Dylanbrown
No. I can't see any fuses near the ignition. Any other ideas?
Dylanbrown
Update. I now have no indicators, side light or tail light!!! Do they all run off the same part of the loom? The bike starts and runs, the stop light works, as does the high beam and dipped... Most baffling!
eastanglianbiker
have you got fusebox/cdi unit that looks like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/KAWASAKI-GPZ550-ZX550-GPZ400-GPZ-550-GPZ-400-FUSE-BOX-26021-1091-/272148971541?hash=item3f5d57c015:g:Fq8AAOSwFNZW0i1R" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Dylanbrown
Hi. No, I don't have a fuse box like that. Mine has 3 glass tubed fuses. It's located behind the side panel. Apart from that I can't appear to find any more fuse boxes... All very odd. Thanks for your help, Dylan
