  1. This is what has been happening but then pop pop pop last night...I have been told coils and if it is , its an easy one, cheers
  2. There are many videos of how to do it yourself. I have done mine not too long ago both front and pillion seat. Just get a decent staple gun, some good scissors and follow the vids. I didn't think i could do it but was't as bad as i thought, and was alot cheaper than upholsterers https://www.google.co.uk/?gws_rd=ssl#q= ... cycle+seat Have a gander!
  3. Hi all, today i picked up my bike from the garage...but when i picked it up, the mechanic told my that either the coils are on the way out or cards need doing. I have done about 30 miles today in the sun but tonight (and its chilly out) It started popping/back firing and juddering. If i put into neutral and rev, no pops or anything. I didn't get far enough for the engine to get even warm...just a few hundred yards lol. I have noticed (before the garage) for a while that when stationary ie at lights, the bike revs almost stalls and sometimes does cut out and the mechanic who has just replaced the exhaust system, whilst taking it for a spin noticed the same thing and suggested either coils or carbs. First are the symptoms I have described that of a coil failing in style? Or possibly carbs?? I am a novice when it comes the mechanics of things but would appreciate and advice
  4. Hi, i have previously posted about another exhaust but I have been fortunate to find a 1992 model bike being srapped but has a 4 into 1. Even thought hat isn't the original exhaust, would anyone know if the original would fit a 1994 model even though its an after market one? ( My theory is that if the original one fitted, then the aftermarket one wouls also fit therefore fit the later model one 1994 one)
  5. Hi, I am in need of an exhaust but it has been very difficult to find a decent second hand one however, I was forwarded this one and was wandering if anyone had any idea that it may fit my bike. The difference being is that the one i am thinking of buying is for a 1993 model and my bike is a 1994. I am interested in it as it is almost new and at a bargain price. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/suzuki-gsx-60 ... t_36wt_922
  6. Could be good....cheers
  7. Hello all fellow enthusiasts, I have a 1994 Suzuki Gsx600f. I need an exhaust but cant seem to fine one, i would like to know whether any other exhaust may fit this particular bike second hand or new, if any one can find any decent prices/websites etc for either 4 into 2 or 4 into 1 systems that would be great. I Should say that the only one i can find is a shade over £300 so anything that beats that price would be fantastic, cheers all bikerrrrs
  8. Does anyone know if any suitable aftermarket parts would work? Do they do such things? As for messing with my current fairings, never thought about it but its a possiblity.
  9. Hi all bikers, I would like to tease your knowledge and ask if anyone knows if i am able to change the garnish (fairings lol) by using another bikes fairings on my bike which is a 1994 Suzuki gsx600f, i heard that maybe a gsxr or similar, of the same cc (not necessarily year), could be a good match...any ideas including years, that would be suitable too? cheers all
  10. Are chains/ sprockets universal for cc size eg 600 chain and sprockets would fit any 600 cc bike?
  11. HI all Bikers, Im looking to replace sprockets and chain on my bike 1994 suzuki gsx600f (katana) and was wandering if anyone can provide links for me, i have tried to look but unsure to which one to get, im no bike fixerer lol so try not to baffle me with science, many thanks for all your time
  12. Only one problem with this site, the fact that it doesn't show you the colour you choose so still unsure, as for the other site, i have used that one before but like i said, the fairing on my bike now is different from the original one so it wouldn't be accurate anyway. I know the fairings on the bike now is from a 600 gsxf as it has it on the side of the fairing but as to which year, i don't know.
  13. It's not misfiring although i will still use a bit of wd40 in it's special places lol.
  14. I only want a touch up, that's all, hence why i want to do it myself however the fairings have changed just before i bought the bike, originally red now it is this kind of blue, i have had a look through all the colours available for a 1995 bike but not for my year (1994) as it doesn't go back that far http://www.colorrite.com/product/suzuki ... e-1714.cfm but the colour is very similar to the link. Do you know if earlier or later fairings would fit my year bike? If so that could make it easier to trace the colour better.
  15. Hi all Bikers, I am trying to find out the colour of my fairings, i know that they are not original to the bike, went to Halfords and they said they need a code. Is there a way to find out this code? Is it printed on theinside of the fairings for example or is there aplace or website i can use to determine what colour my bike is. If not, does anyone know of other fairings which would definately fit my bike (1994 suzuki gsx600 f ) Cheers in advance for any help
