  1. No mate, that one there is a bit too modern. I guess I won't know unless they (fingers crossed) phone me up
  2. Nope it can't be, this bike was slightly more modern, and the front disc was a sports size and on the right hand side
  3. I was working in Salford today, and I came acroos a neglected Honda sitting in someones front garden. It had plant life growing from the seat, settled all over the engine. I am at a bit of a loss to what exact model it is. Before I give some identifying markers to those are interested, here is what I noticed before I went back to plead with the owner. It is completely seized. Wheels, clutch handle, front brake, rear brake, stearing is stiff, accelarator has just some movement in it. Only think it appears to be missing is the radiator, everything else appears intact and present despite the neglect. It is in remarkably good condition, by that I mean there is no broken lights, dents, anything like that. So, I knocked on got no answer, left and decided to go back later and leave a note I wrote, but they were in when I went back. The woman said someone is else is looking at taking it, so I gavce her my number and told her not to wait too long as I would like to take it "off her hands". We will see VDM's Apparent CB model, possibly a 400, but I cannot find a matching CB400 model with an image. It is in the Honda Yellow and purple, naked, rear brake is drum, yet has a large front brake and has some other things that suggest it is a sports model. No number plate, so no idea on year, my guess is late 80's. I think it might be bigger than a 400cc, possibly up to 600cc. Please ask if you want more info, I can only give you what I remember, as my phone is knackered and wouldn't take a photo :I
  4. I don't know, to be honest, understanding what parties like UKIP expect to do beside immigration is like answering the meaning of life. BNP for instance, I find only one good reason to vote for them that other parties won't do, but the rest of BNP's politics scare the shit out of me, so I won't be voting them. UKIP appeal to me, but I don't think Nigel has the balls to carry his word through.
  5. <----- this guy just gave Andrex a few million sperm for free.
  6. I had a housemate several weeks back who assaulted his girlfriend and then went on a theft spree, on the run from the police obviously. They kept knocking at all hours looking for him, and three different units where looking for him, the Domestic abuse unit, the slightly more intelligent crime investigation department and normal street coppers. They came round 5 times whilst I was around the house to answer the door, 4 of those times I was grabbed and cuffed the moment I entered the door, the whole house ransacked and me having to prove my identity before uncuffing me. Only one office said sorry afterwards, the rest were just total *****. All this because of serious communication breakdown between different units. f**king useless honestly.
  7. With all repairs it's always cheaper to do it yourself. The benefit of having it repaired in a garage is they are skilled, working to a standard to please you and they have access to everything they need to do the job right. Sometimes it pays to have cars/bikes fixed in a garage.
  8. There is also the basic contract of payment. If they paid you to create images for the company, even if they didn't acquire copyright, you would have automatically agreed by taking payment in the form of your wages or whatever. Like ^^^ said, keep hold of them, and if they get a solicitor to make a case about it, give it up without a fught, just don't give them the impression you might do that. Anyway, onto other things, I am sure I'm am not the only one to wonder..... what is your business going to be ???
  9. Do you motovlog and post on youtube?? I am wondering something..... Erm....no.... Haha fair enough, although you should, can't keep a Triumph Triple 1050 all to yourself
  10. Do you motovlog and post on youtube?? I am wondering something.....
  11. Blimey, I started a new one today and you wished me luck, then you walk out of yours!? It sounds like the right thing to have done though. I hope you do well in your own business, call on me if you ever need a skilled sales rep/manager who lives 8 million miles away
  12. Hi thanks guys, just got back from the first day of training. Checked the place out, there is a shower room, and the people are sound as owt, got chatting to all the managers and they wanted to know all about me, spoke to the guy with the bike, he wasn't looking so smart but hey ho lol. To be honest, having sorted out a lot of stuff today, the company and I would benefit from me driving a car, as they can pay for my usage. Maybe I will have to get another cage first and and wait a bit longer before doing the DAS, who knows. Thanks for good lucks
  13. It would take me roughly 30 mins to get to work on a bike. I think I might be able to keep my shoes there instead, I will have to check it out. I seen a nice GSX600 outside yesterday, yet to find out who's it is
  14. Hi, I am starting my new job today where I will have to wear shirt and tie all day. My income is increasing 3 fold, so getting a bike is becoming almost a definite I was wondering if anyone has commuted to work on their bike whilst having to arrive looking smart, or can it be done at all? I'll basically be wearing smart shoes, pressed pants and shirts, I won't need to wear my suit jackets.
