  1. Looking for some heated grips, and Oxford and R&G make some. Does anyone know which are better? Thanks Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  2. Can you not squeeze the bike between the cars. I can normally get away with that unless my Mrs parks to far over. Then get a shed and move some of the junk into that to make space in the garage for the bike. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Still trying to make up my mind. May just buy a nice set now and keep that for a few years before getting a camera. Anyone got the sena 20s? Any issues? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  4. Looks good and has some nice features not on other cameras. Just need a cheapo unit for the next couple of months. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  5. I like the features of the old 10c but it's missing 1080p 60fps. The new evo has this. I would prefer comms and camera integrated. If they were separate I would guarantee most of the time I won't setup the camera. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  6. Ok I know you get what you pay for, but I'm looking for cheap comms to make do with until the sena 10c eco is released. I'm seeing on eBay the BT-S2 for about 40 quid, but happy to pay a bit more. Does not have to be perfect and it's not really for riding in a group at the moment, more for for calls / sat nav directions. Anyone have any other devices they would suggest? 7. I use alt-berg hiking boots and they are awesome. I plan to visit the shop next month to look at their motorcycle boots. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  8. I'm not worried about it being sensitive. It's only for use at work. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks All. I have ordered a package deal http://securityforbikes.com/proddetail.php?prod=Torc1-P16-x.x-SS65 Pragmasis Protector 16mm Chain, Torc Ground Anchor, Squire SS65CS Lock. Any suggestions for chains and locks to use while out and about. I'm also considering a BigBoss Alarm disc lock for use at work, just so someone will hear if its being tampered with. Are they worth it? Thanks.
  10. Thanks will see what they are selling when I pick the bike up as I'm getting a discount with them. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. New bike arriving soon. And now need something to secure it. Are expensive chains really that much better? Basically I want something to lock it up at night to a ground anchor, and something to take during the day Thanks Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  12. I used Karmenz in Northampton next to billing and they were great. The fact we had actual access to the off road test circuit a couple of hours before taking mod 1 was the reason I went with them and glad I did. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  13. Your not too old. I was 47 and like you a newbie. Booked my cbt two days after going to the nec bike show last year. Now taken My full test and waiting for my bike to arrive:-) Clutch control with badly fitting gloves is going to be awkward. I'm sure with the right gear it will be fine. Just take it nice and slow and remember to enjoy it. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  14. Thanks all. Going for the Vulcan s. Not decided on the colour yet. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  15. Well after a visit to the NEC motorcycle show last year I decided to finally get my full licence. Apart from a quick 5min try on a 125 14 years ago I have never ridden a bike. Did my CBT and DAS early December, and added a 2 hour lesson December 31st as MOD1 was not until Jan 6th. Passed MOD1 Friday and Mod2 today. What I found great was the school booked out the test centre so we could practice before the MOD1 test. So by the time of the test I already had several practice runs. Hope to see you all around on the roads soon Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
