  1. Right so turns out my bike has had a knock in the past because when I line the wheel alignment up to the corresponding marks, the front and back wheel are out of line with eachothwr. So if I line the wheels up so they are straight with eachother, the chain is nice and slack until I tighten the axwl but up and it goes too tight. No matter how much I slacked the chain first, it goes too tight once the axèl but is tightened. I feel like crying
  2. The noise is a whine noise, not a while noise haha
  3. Hibguys sorry about the late reply. So I changed the chain and sprockets. No problem, the chain was the right length. Bit of a new issue, there is a while noise coming from the chain whenever the bike is moving. Is this normal? The set I bought was a DID chain and sprockets set so it is aftermarket but is supposedly OEM. The chain is straight and doesn't look as if it is rubbing on anything. The tension is 20mm
  4. Hi guys, so I'm changing my chain, sprockets and crush drive rubbers on my 08 ybr 125 tomorrow. I ordered a DID chain and sprockets after a bit of research. I ordered it from eBay and it says it is for my bike. The instructions are veryisleading on fitting the chain. I think Ill be okay with the fitting of the chain if it is a straight swap, but what I'm not sure on is if it is going to be the right length or not. How would I check This? Would it be as simple as removing my old chain and lining them up to see if they are the same length? Any advice will be greatly appreciated as always
  5. I was beginning to think that. Would there be any way to check the revs accurately?
  6. Hi guys I've got a 2008 ybr 125 carb model which has had a replacement engine, which was injection but had a carb manifold to. I found out it should be idling at 1300 to 1400 rpm, mine is idling at 2000. It sounds fine, but if I adjust the idle to lower than 1900 it starts to struggle, but will still rev responsively. Is this something I shouldbworry about or is it ok to have my idle set at 1900 to 2000? A friend said that the rev counter isn't 100 percent accurete and it sounded fine, but I want to be sure
  7. Thanks for that its a great help. Can I get away without replacing the seal on the carb do you think?
  8. Hi guys, I recently noticed a neat petrol smell coming from my bike. Upon closet inspection, I noticed that the rubber hose that is supposed to run from the bottom of the carb as an over flow was missing. Also, the carb is leaking fuel from this area. I have been told that it is a stuck float. I don't know a lot about bikes but I am technically minded. Is this a job I can take on myself? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks guys
