Passed my Mod 2 today, over-the-moon. Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber waiting in the garage. Shame I'm working for 24 hours now but there's plenty of time to have some fun! Basically I agreed I had totally failed immediately (as i did with the Mod 1) and then thought "Oh well enjoy the ride." It worked

Well it's been a long windy road for me but.... I was shocked as I was complteley sure I had failed when I woke up at 6am prior to the test! When the examiner was talking to me I knew in my heart he hated me, and had already written those words on the sheet. As I finished he made small talk about "perfect ride, zero errors" but I knew he meant "don't bother ever trying again." I did hug him, as well as my instructor several times. Cheering at traffic stops all the way home. I'm still not bored of finding people on Facebook to tell. Roll on Mod 2!

Hi, can anyone who has one of these advise if you can actually wear goggles with them? The reason I ask is that my Bell Custom looked great in all the adverts with the vintage goggles on them, but they must have put a sock in the helmet to get them to look like they're in the right place. (Not pushed down over my nose!) Thanks in advance!

Thanks Tim, this has confirmed the fact I passed my theory, and Mod 1 & 2 on a 125cc....I've got to do it all over again! Who thought this one up?! Your over 24 with a full a1 licence and passed theory . Take 2 part test on a 600 or above 40kw . According to the link above https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/the-routes-to-your-motorcycle-licence Because my theory test is over 2 years old, I can either, do the A2 or re-test Theory to go for my Direct Access.

Apparently it 'brings us into line' with our EU friends.

Haha cheers, and OK I'll try them, unfortunately when I tell them I have an A1 licence they usually look at me like I've just produced a live chicken from my wallet!

Hi Hoggs. I was under 24 about 24 years ago! So perhaps that's not the issue?

Hi, my first post so please bare with me! I passed my A1 2 years and 4 months ago (125cc.) Now I want to go straight to my Direct Access. I have tried booking it online, but it says "You can’t book a test for this category. Please choose another type of test or contact the DVSA on 0300 200 1122 for further details." Any idea why i am getting this message? Regards! Sussex
