  1. Just renewed my scooter insurance with them I paid £348.83 last year with zero no claims and it was £245 for this year which I didn’t think was too bad
  2. My Viper helmet has an internal sunshade I’ve only used it a couple of times because I find that when it’s down and the visor is closed my glasses steam up which defeats the purpose of the sunshade
  3. Sod that!! A 125 on a dual carriageway is bad enough!! 50cc for a mobike but not a scooter. The time I ended up on a three lane carriageway on the 125 was not something I ever want to repeat @RAYK47 Good luck, all the best, break a... a fingernail. I did 5 miles in lane one of a three lane road at 50mph in the pouring rain the other week not something that I wish to repeat anytime soon. My scooter is a 110cc
  4. Took my Suzuki Address to the dealer that sold it to me for its 1st service today they changed the oil and oil filter £80 the oil and filter cost about £12 the rest was labour and VAT Haynes don’t do a manual for this scooter otherwise I’d get one and see if I could do it myself
  5. Had a similar thing done to my mountain bike at work years ago someone had undone the Quick Release for the front wheel luckily I noticed it was loose before I got on it so disaster avoided
  6. I did my CBT in August this year and had to wait till October to get the scooter that I wanted Suzuki address 110 I was nervous to start with but now 2 months in I love it and commute to work every day and go for a ride on my day off if other half is at work
  7. I have a pair of armr textile trousers with armour in that I wear every time I ride takes me about 10 minutes to get all the gear on and unlock/cover the scooter and they keep me warm and dry
  8. Thanks for the suggestions guys I’m really annoyed with myself as I’ve only had it 11 days it’s all cosmetic damage I’ll replace the mirrors as there all chewed up but might leave the faring and front mudguard for a while
  9. Hi I’ve gone and dropped my new scooter and scratched the front faring on both sides and the front mudguard does anyone know if I can get replacement parts to make it as good as new again
  10. Picked this up yesterday brand new, I’m getting used to it slowly

    WTF!!

The horses and carriages on Great Yarmouth seafront have these fitted and the roads are nice and clean
  12. I left the box in the shop where I bought it from I didn’t notice anything else in it and neither did my partner (she normally spots the things that I miss)
  13. Sorry for all the silly questions My viper helmet is pin lock ready but I’m not sure which one I need as I can’t remember the model number of the helmet does anyone know where I can find the model number for the helmet or advise on the pin lock I’d need (not the dark one as the helmet has a drop down dark visor already) Thanks
  14. Bikes not being delivered till 12th October due to holiday
  15. Thanks for all your comments I’m pleased to say that I passed the CBT today and have been and ordered a nice new Suzuki Address 110 scooter twice as powerful as the 50cc that I was ragging through the lanes today (trying and failing to keep up with a 125cc geared bike) the rider was having a refresher before her new 250cc bike was delivered this afternoon. Big thanks to Mo at Pass bike training for the well run day Glad I didn’t try a geared bike now there is enough to remember without the faff of changing gears
