Many thanks for your most informative reply. I feel more confident in using this 10w30 oil, particularly as my bike is very low mileage.

I purchased the oil online from a Suzuki motorbike dealer; was told this the oil recommended buy them. I might add i also purchased at the same time a full service pack which included oil filter, oil seals. Air filter, spark plug. They where all main dealer brands except the spark plug.

I have purchased Motul 7100 10w30 as recommended by Suzuki. Yet in the Service book it’s saying to use 10w40 oil. Can I please ask which is correct?
