  2. Disk locks can just snap and shear off when forced/ driven off hence the hi visible wire attaching them. Best option would be sturdy lock and chain of possible, Like you say nothing is fool proof if they have time and are determined enough!!.
  3. Give it a quick once over check usual suspects, brakes throttle etc,, hopefully all ok Just take it easy when out on the road. Hopefully all ok and slowly build up your confidence again..

  5. Hi all,, Bit of a dilema am unsure whether to just sit another CBT (3rd) one of try get saving and get shot of the L plates and pass proper test but unsure the costs. Anyone any idea of price all in? CBT probably bout £130 again. but needs must? And does it warrant it as just use bike for work and back/forth. Any advice
  6. Feel yer pain my 125 cbf lucky to hit 60 but in wind it is what it is!! just chill a bit and just lean into it gently and take it easy. Sod the bullies.. you as much right as they have to be there.. Stay safe tho
  7. Hi all Seems the reggy/reccy was faulty, changed it then it's fired up as usual started up 5 times now all seems okay.
  8. Yes definitely correct battery think it's reggy/reccy, so think that is my next attempt as its cheaper option..
  9. Replaced starter couple month ago so surely it's not starter,, anyhow it does start as long as fresh power is getting to it.??

  11. Hi I also have cbf125 with no neutral light on cash working did all usual suspects bulbs fuses, still no joy just had to live with it,, Did you manage to get the light fixed....
  12. Rectifier seems roasting as never noticed this before is this normal or could this be problem? Semi thinking it could be solenoid as it seemed to drain battery even when switched off.. (arrrgghh (doin my freaking Heid in,, )(aye am Scottish )
  13. No lights no power at all, noticed the rectifiyer regulator getting hot is this normal as never noticed this before.
  14. Fitted new battery, boom started no probs,, put all back together, ready to get going,, nothing again. Put on jump leads get it started but when take leads off it dies of death?? Anyone came across this before,, Bike is cbf 125 any info very welcome.. Thanks in advance..
