My nephew has the Terrain and bought it new 2yrs ago. He has covered over 15,000 miles on it with no troubles of any kind. He looks after it and it goes very well. I've ridden it a couple of times and there is plenty of power for most occasions unless you are a speed freak and want to ride the motorways all the time. And yes, it's ok to go on the motorways for short hops, the bike is easily up to that. His bike looks almost brand new. No rust in spite of it being used throughout two winters now. Although he uses Waxoyl and ACF50 on the bike at the start of winter to protect it and he does detail clean it on a regular basis. Easy to service and cheap to run. He isn't going to part with it anytime soon. Service items are easy to get and again cheap. Not having had any issues with the bike, can't say how quickly bigger spares would take to get. Dealer says parts of any kind are not really an issue these days as much has improved in the last few years with the part supply chain. Just saying this is my nephews experience of the bike, in case it helps anyone. PS. The Sinnis Terrain is manufactured to British specs in the same factory that produces BMW's, Yamaha and Suzuki bikes in China. The quality is pretty much on par with all of those bikes these days so I'm told. Looking at them and with the experience my nephew has had, I wouldn't argue with that.
