  1. Hey Folks basically fitted aftermarket indicators on my bike..and ye as above they all blink at same time..so i fitted the diodes to prevent current crossing over to the other side amd they still blinks 4 ways only when i signal right! i dont understand how the current is getting through the diode...when i signal left there no problems but when i signal right all 4 blinks. so ive no idea.. any ideas folks cheers
  2. cheers mate. yeah thats for a indicator with sensors. Sure my one can be wired into the display unit with speedometer, tachometer but without instruction and knowing which cable represents what am a bit lost. get what you for. cheap junk off ebay.
  3. hi i asked the seller he doesnt supply instruction lol so i actually bought another gear indicator before. A plug and play one but didnt realise until recently that my carbed r6 doesnt work with plug n play. no ecu. so i just went out and bought a cheap universal one off ebay and hoped it wouldnt be too bad to install. But of course zero instructions makes it a pain. heres a pic universal gear indicator
  4. hi everyone. i have my first trackday coming up in couple weeks and i want to know which gear im in with a quick glance down, i bought a cheap universal one of ebay. it has 1 plug with 6 wires and then a free wire so 7 in total. no way will it just plug in i guess but maybe i can cut the plug off and wire it in somewhere. has anyone got any experience with these things? cheers folks
  5. thanks guys, i jacked the front end up and basically there is 20 mm of play in the fork legs. essentially forks move loosely 20mm before the springs starts to compress. the spring isnt under tension until the the stanchion is slid 20 mm inside the fork leg so maybe a spacer is all required. im not sure aftermarket springs would fix it unless a/m spring are longer. anyone have any tips for spacers material? thanks
  6. hello folks hope everyone is well! fitted aftermarket indicators to my bike and both flash at the same time! not ideal! done some research and a solution is wiring in a 1 amp diode, basically the two wires that go to the indicator light in the dash, i need to tap into them. now im terrible with electrics, i havent attempted to start pulling the bike apart because i would like some pointers if possible with regards to locating the two wire that connect to the indicator bulb in dash cheers
  7. hope everyones well, i noticed my front pads on my left side front caliper were rubbing on the disc, jacked the bike up and i get a 1.5 turns of the wheel, using reasonable force with my arms. ive already rebuilt the caliper in question, new seals, fresh brake fluid, system bled, brakes work great. no brake judder or pulsing, brake discs seem in fair condition. whats peoples thoughts, is it quite normal? i feel like there is more friction there than there should be. cheere
  8. its a 20 year old bike with 25k on the clock, maybe the springs in the fork tube tired or something? i dont understand why i cant get the free sag within factory setting. That has nothing to do with rider weight. ill need to have a look at some aftermarket springs, does the damper rod work in conjunction with after market springs? spacers did cross my mind but im not sure that would give me the best outcome. thx for replies
  9. Hello folks new on here, recently i tried to set the SAG on my front forks, i have 40mm free sag and 60 mm rider sag. The bike rides horrible, very harsh, Preload adjuster maxed out. Recently i changed fork seals and oil, basically there's no room for adjustment left. anyone hv any ideas to get my sag down to factory spec? thanks
