  1. Fitted the new exhaust, 230mm black widow. Sounds great with the baffles out
  2. Only because I'm puitting a new exhaust on anyway lol
  3. Put new mudguard on, greased the new footpeg connections to resist corrosion, put the topbox back on, polished out a few scratches on the front from the impact. ....then watched as GF's neighbour reversed into it later in the afternoon lmao.
  4. Couldn't make this shit up!!! First time back on my bike after replacing all damaged parts aside from exhaust (that arrives Monday) and parked at GF's place....went indoors, and as I looked out the window, he neighbour reversed into it FFS. Lucky for him, only added a scratch to the exhaust....so not so bad
  5. Yeah, especially as I'd followed them up the hill...they turned into my road then stopped outside number 10, I stopped about a car and a half back behind them (no room to go round) then he slammed into reverse....when he got out he did the classic, 'Sorry didn't see you' Then added he'd seen me following up the hill but not realised I'd followed him into the road...well, I live here buddy lol
  6. Oh yeah the officer got suspended, so there's that. There was no issues getting them to admit liability too, so that's something. Just put new footpegs on, new mudguard arrives tomorrow, the exhaust can wait, til payout arrives then it'll get a new end can. Oh and book an MOT then good to go
  7. Hope you're all well. Juist been out in the nice weather on my courtesy bike while waiting for mine to come back (got reversed into by a police van last week , been written off as cat N, but I'm putting it back on road lol) As I was typing, my bike arrived so already put new footpegs on, just waiting for new front mudguard to arrive (tomorrow) then MOT time....they really do write off for low damage these days huh?
  8. I got this piece of tat https://www.ebay.com/itm/183037439776 Though it's gone up in price, was 7.99 when i got it. It's just how you'd expect a camera for 7.99 would be. Hardly full 1080p Does what I need it to do. Fitted and tested today, footage below, don't expect an exciting ride, just went around local town to see how it came out. Recorded in 720p mode as 1080p footage tested in my house was no better but took up more space...may as well use 720p Excuse the juddering, no image stabilisation on this camera, and the way I mounted it wasn't the best, picks up too much vibration...however, it will do what I got it for so it's all good. "> basically, rubbish, but for a basic dashcam type thing, and especially once I get a less vibey mount, it'll do
  9. I do know a few cases where it was the guy that was a c**t over kids and breakup, it happens both sides...but yes, it's more common with women, if only because generally kids stay with the mother (not always but usually) so there's going to be a higher percentage there regardless.
  10. Feeling a lot better now...if you listened, you'll probably guess I was having issues seeing my baby daughter (well..she's 1 this thursday) as my ex is....problematic. I feared I would never see her again, luckily I've had some help, and contact is restored. Definitely a good feeling.
  11. I just ordered a cheapish one off ebay, due to arrive next week, let you know how it is
  12. As I was extremely upset last night, with all the shit going on and what's happening in my life, I put some of it into a song...not sure it helped any, but feel free to have a listen. It's not the greatest, but it only took me a couple of hours lol https://soundcloud.com/laughing-in-purgatory/where-you-go
  13. Got it fixed, the garage collected it at no extra cost, despite the warranty stating I had to arrange own transport, so that was cool. Alas they couldn't bring it back as they were short staffed the day it was ready and I couldn't get there any other day as had my daughter staying after, so I just got the train there, only cost me £3 as the ticket guy didn't appear until halfway there (no ticket machines at local station) so not bad, only issue was ever getting the bike there anyway. They had to order a new sensor as cleaning up connections etc didn't work so it wasn't that. Riding the bike back, the front RH indicator went, sods law, luckily I lad already ordered a spare set so will replace as soon as they arrive.
