I can also recommend j+s i got a raid 2 nucleus from the one in northwich for £169 they reduce the designs that arn't big sellers so if you can go in and look you may get a bargain like me ! It's not just northwich the guy said they do it in all there branches. Great choice of lid.

I must be old fashioned i still use a map! never lets me down never blows up and because you have to stop to check it you never get distracted with that annoying voice in your ear. i have one for most areas of the country and all together it was still less than the cost of a sat nav

My brother bought the jacket and pants a couple of years back and he swears by them still going strong and still waterproof. My only complaint is the sizes as with a lot of bike gear they dont do an extra fat size so i guess i'll have to start that diet after all !

As others say its all about comfort but i believe if you get one thats gold standard marked they do offer more protection. After 2 hours trying different types i ended up buying a shoei raid II and i gotts say it's worth every penny (even though it was half price in the sale !)
