  1. Definitely a scam, the next email you get will say they've sent the money but can you pay the freight company using western distribution...
  2. Should always be a sign somewhere for single yellow, if there isn't then park as you like, as you can easily get any ticket overturned if there's inadequate signs.
  3. Its is perfectly possible for mass to both increase and decrease in realistic everyday life scenarios... Situation 1 Riding down the motorway (at 70 mph of course!) and your rucksack / pannier falls off = decrease in mass and increase in acceleration (assuming same force) Situation 2 Riding in general - you burn off fuel which causes mass to decrease but you hit 10,000 flies which causes an overall increase in mass therefore acceleration deceased (assuming constant force) See can be simple and apply to everyday life!! Anyway site looks good Bex!! Though some of the pictures on the Newton page are too big and don't display right.
  4. big congrats Bex!! Now you need to find a school that will allow you to corrupt all their pupils into bikers
  5. I think so as I don't believe there were any significant changes until 95
  6. Brute force and (mostly) ignorance usually works on even the most stubborn filter, just try and avoid mangling the thread on your bike.
  7. Everyone's entitled to one regardless of if you agree with it
  8. Signed and shared on fb Outrageous behaviour, can't believe it ever stood up in court!
  9. [on topic] they don't really have policies, they're more people to vote for if you don't like the big three and aren't racist to vote BNP) [/on topic] [off topic] You know they're open for 15 hours right? 0700-2200 Also if you cannot make it you can arrange other ways to vote (proxy or post) If you don't vote you're giving up any right to a say on what goes on in the country (unless you have enough money to bribe, though you still probably ought to vote to keep the person you bribe in a position to help you). As others have said, I don't understand why people are secretive about it. I voted tory for the simple fact that labour got us into debt, I don't like lib dem policies and the rest are either racist or have no real policies. [/off topic]
  10. Once had the same with a fire engine on the A617... Think I did the right thing and stayed behind and fortunately they turned off shortly after! As cruz said, you don't know what they're going to do next so keep your distance. Also if they're going to an RTC or something you probably don't want to be first on scene!
  11. bahahahaha!!!! That has to be the best I've ever heard! When people first started to have desktops at home a PC World 'specialist' once told my aunt that he computer wasn't working as she had too many desktop icons/shortcuts! Made me laugh Also have the gf's mum buy a desktop from them recently (against plenty of advice) and they also got he with the 'we'll back it up for you' though surprisingly did it for free as far as I know. Also got her to have a 2Tb hard drive instead of 1Tb because she had lots of old photos she wanted to scan onto it...and to then stop the cost going up said they could fo 6 Mb of ram instead of 8 Mb, what a nice guy!! Unfortunately I have sinned twice in my lift and bought a laptop from them twice (it was the cheapest place to get it). The first time I was stood in the store of PC World with £500 ready to buy the laptop but no one would talk to me so I went next door to Curry's (before they merged) and got it from them in about 10 mins. I learnt my lesson and bought the next one online from Currys website (after the merge) and they delivered it to the wrong house! Never again eBuyer for most things now
  12. I don't listen when on the bike but its usually on in the house so may hear such an announcement before I set off.
  13. As with most things, you do get what you pay for, but there is a limit where it becomes spending money for the sake of it (for a brand) Had a couple of really cheap ones (less than £10) and I generally found the clips broke if it got too windy as the clips were cheap and flimsy. Also some of them weren't actually waterproof even though they were advertised as being waterproof Though there's no guarantee the more expensive ones will have a better clip or be any more waterproof, but I think if you have the cheapest of the cheap you can't complain its poor quality. Overall there isn't a massive difference and anything is generally better than nothing.
  14. It shouldn't be about beating southerners, its an act of remembrance.
  15. Depending on the dates I'll be there! Even if its just for the day
