Well I didnt get all excited for nothing Excellent day, superb weather. some new roads some wonderfully familiar ones and the same with the company lol Thanks again Simon for pulling whole thing together. How lucky are we to have that quality of scenery and tarmac on our doorsteps. N Matt you were right....motorway home..big mistake- cant think of much that wasnt hurting by the time I got home lol Until the next one....cheers guys

Something has 'cropped up' for me too guys... Sunday - on way back from Dev's Bridge, what I thought was just a cold coming on was devloping (fast) into full-blown flu. I was a little underdressed but would normally have been ok if a little uncomfortable. Half way home I started shivvering - you know the real teeth smashing spasm'y ones you cant stop. I really should have stopped - wasnt remotely safe- but all I could think of was gettin home as fast as poss, sod the wind chill. Couldnt feel my arms or hands, stalled three times whilst moving ( cant explain why I didnt drop it - should have) Being a girly - and a bit self-indulgent I shed a few tears....actually was havin a good old blub until I worked out it was soaking my neck tube and makin me colder. I did get home...parked up on pavement. Amy got me a hot WB but it was a good 3/4 hr before the shivers calmed down It took a hot bath (didnt help much) and about 3 more hours for my extremities to warm back up.....and my arse......lets not go there eh? Obviously all made 100 times worse by the nasty lil bug I was nurturing niceley. Been off and will be off work all week - on Penecillin & oral steroids. First time out of bed today. So it breaks my heart cos I was so ready to do this and catch up with some good pals, meet a few new ones... Shit havin a wee blub now...silly coo....sooo feeling sorry for my wretched bloody self... Guys I hope you have an amazing day I'm sure you will. If theres a miracle or if these steroids truly work thier magic - I'll be there. If not.....and if you get as far a Wigton ....all ride past my house hanging off those horns!!!! ....at least twice...

I've done it ....but pillion Passed a HOGs rideout on way down......all black leather n shed loads of chrome....both feet down on every corner....absolutely cr*pping themselves.....hilarious Tho have to admit I'd probably be just as wobbly

Anybody plan to be out & about on Sunday? I've got to go down from Carlisle to Keighley. Will be heading down M6/A65........would be great to have some company at least on part of route In partic, anybody with local knowledge of Keighley area would be really useful ......no sat nav, printer dead so cant even print off directions..........could take a while
