  2. Hi guys not been on here for ages not sure if anyone remembers me don’t even know how I fell out of the forum may have been when my email with fs mail ended lots of things have happend since but here I’am Thanks stu for help recovering account Hi everyone
  3. haynes manual or other reference information is essential. I have just bought a bike to which i purchased a haynes manual for while checking the chain found that the chain is stretched 10mm longer than the max permissible. other useful information like torque setting and amount of teeth for sprockets and how many links for standard. I know this sounds a bit conformist but if its not standard to the bike the insurance will have a field day if you spill it and they get wind its not standard. i am planning to replace the wheel bearings on the rear wheel at the same time as the cost is under a tenner. Regarding the split link i read on a web site that anything over 60 bhp should be riveted. hope this helps good luck
  4. Thanks guys hope you are all well had a bad bad year cancer hit are family twice this year hope to get back on track and catch up with some of you soon cheers for the birthday wishes

  8. back home a day early had a awesome time took the best part of 24hrs to get there. ripped by the toll roads in france, weather was fantastic, set up camp in charmonix had a cracking laugh, nephew went off on his quest to climb mont blanc with his mate, i went off to have a look around charmonix really cool place. i was having a much needed kip in the tent. nephews mate came back cause he didn't feel he could do the mountain it was to much for him. i wasn't going to let myself feel disappointed by my trip next day rode around the mountain which took me through mountain passes to Martigny in switzerland to the tunnel Du St Bernard Italy through to Aoste Morgex and back through the mont blanc tunnel about 6.5hrs some of the most beautiful mountain roads with scenery to take you breath away and not for one second did i feel alone with foreign bikers letting on every inch of the way. was just getting settled after my day out when my nephew arrived back with his pics and stories of his climb mont blanc looked awesome from the top. sadly his mate a problem at home and we had to leave early doing approximately 929 miles and a ferry crossing in 19hrs my body still feels like it is on the bike weird feeling hands and arms are stiff and aching but thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee157/craig7boss/IMG_2698.jpg http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee157/craig7boss/IMG_2645.jpg http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee157/craig7boss/IMG_2730.jpg http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee157/craig7boss/IMG_2721.jpg
