2007 Hyosung GT125R

Bought this bike for 900£ after passing my CBT.

To start the bike looked good, most people didnt think it was a 125 and some thought it was acutally a Ducati lol then they seen the L plates. so looks better than most 125s.

It tended to rust quite a bit,paintwork flaked. and finding parts was a nightmare, had to order mirrors etc from korea. then get smacked with customs charges.

Bike was smooth on the road but after 30 mins it got really uncomfortable. however due to the weight of it and...

I have a full licence and have riden all over the world and i dont need to go fast anymore, so that is reason i have one of these.

looks wise and i know that is very subjective these are good looking bikes, one of the reasons i got it was it is the same size and a full sized bike, no radiator to worry about as it is air cooled. has electric start and will do 60 mpg all day long on a flatish road, without going into the red, it is a twin cylinder and the MPG is out of this world, so much you...

Not had this bike long just approaching my first service. I have a 2004 GT which I bought second hand.

As far as my information has lead me, The Hyosung company build pretty shoddy engines pre 2007 and were prone to breaking. There has also been a problem with the cam chain breaking in older bikes. As far as I know this problem has been rectified.
The stock parts are not of great quality but overall they seem to be quite robust. They are certainly not useful if you want to upgrade. It is possible to upgrade certain parts of this bike however...
