First Bike Insurance

#1 Post by samuelhibbard » Mon Apr 16, 2018 12:12 pm

So I am looking to get myself a used 2014 Yamaha YBR 125 this summer. My commute will be to work and University. It'll be locked securely in a locked garage.
However, when getting a quote on my insurance, it cost around 1000 pounds to get it insured. A bit ridiculous actually. Anyone recommendation or ideas to reduce the insurance price?

Age and location and not a lot you can do about it if your in a high risk area, my first 125 was 135 and that was just last year, the fazer is less again, difference is being old and reasonable area, I would sooner be young again and paying 1k if it's any consolation

Have you tried changing excess, trackers, high security etc for your quotes.
