cbr 125

Hi all i am a newbie to the forum ,i have been trying to get my sons bike going he said just stopped over 2 month ago, just get a click noise when try to start up i have changed solinoid ,battery,and starter motor ,still just clicks at solinoid ,is there anything else i should change or try its a 2007rw7 any advice would be great

Welcome to the forum.
Does the engine turn over if you use a spanner on the end of the crank?
If not the engine could be seized.
If it does turn have you tried bump starting it?

Hi bike moves backwards about 1/4 of a turn but drags wheel if push forward in 3rd gear .is it worth just putting another engine in it . i have read somewhere remove plug and squirt wd40 in

So you have determined that the engine is seized? If it is you could try and rebuild it but it depends what damage has been done
Its better when its loaded

Its not that difficult, aka I'm a fully qualified mechanic :thumb:

I don't I'm afraid but if you are free Friday morning next week I'm travelling back down south and its not that far from the a1 to get to rochdale

Ok no worries, I'd be back down south by around 11-11.30 though I'll be travelling back up on the Sunday so I could always hop over on the way back up quickly as I'll be using the m1 northbound to the m62/a1
