honda CB350SG gearbox

#1 Post by Marko » Wed Sep 11, 2019 9:21 am

I have a Honda rebel with a cb350sg motor. Never knew until I tried to replace the exhaust. Can anyone tell me if the gearbox is one up 5 down. Because this one is. Not really a problem just thought all japs were one down five up or whatever. Would really appreciate any help cos this bike is doing my noggin in.

Nope, nearly all Japs are one down then up. Is your linkage missing?

Hello and welcome :thumb:

i seem to remember my 1978 YB100 had an unusual gear sequence i think that was 1 up and 3/4 down
