Recently passed CBT, hello

#1 Post by Foeism » Tue Dec 11, 2018 10:42 pm

So after years of wanting to get my bike license, three children seemed to get in the way, I finally managed to get my CBT done, a few weeks ago, at 45! I would've liked to have done my DAS, but that's going to have to wait as recently found out, I have another baby on the way!!
That means I will look to complete the full licence in Nov 2019, depending on funds.
For now will have to make do with L plates and a125. Which is great for commuting, and free parking for motorbikes, bonus!

So that's my life story and a big hello!

Hello and welcome. I’m about six months into a similar story and I am loving riding for work and commuting. Filtering, free parking and no congestion charge when Birmingham get a congestion Zone is part of it. It’s also been great fun despite the limited speed.

Hello and welcome. Enjoy :thumb:
2018 BMW R nineT
“It’s shit. And as soon as I get home I’m going to buy one.”
That was a fellow journalist’s first impression of the BMW R nineT recently. It’s a pretty accurate summary; the R nineT is somewhat ill-mannered by modern motorcycle standards but also instantly, inarguably, infatuatingly wonderful.

 yeah it seemed like a good idea at the time! Now I'm enjoying riding, hopefully I'll spend more time in the garage with the bike and not in the bedroom
