Hello from Old Essex Man

#1 Post by OldEssexMan » Sun Dec 16, 2018 2:19 pm

Hi TMBF folk. I live in Essex and have been riding since 1966. My current bike is a Suzuki Burgman 650 bought new in December last year to replace my 180,000 mile 1300 Pan European. There is a good write up on the Burgi in the latest edition of Motorcycle Sport and Leisure. I have done 21,000 miles so far this year and the Burgman really impresses. I know many will see it a "just a scooter, get yourself a proper motorbike" to which my response is "don't knock it if you haven't tried it"!

All the best for Christmas and here's to 2019!!!

Welcome along. What part of Essex? It's mostly where I ride being east london way. Normally post up if I'm out for a ride, In case anyone fancies tagging along. Scooters, 125's or whatever doesn't bother me. Two wheels and an engine that's what it's about.
