Guide to Organising Rideouts and Meets

Seems to be getting a bit confusing....so if we stick to some guidelines, should get lots of things organised before the summer is out.

1. If you want to organise a rideout/meet first choose a date. From experience it is best not to ask people whats best for them, cos u cant please all the people all the time. If they can go, they will, if not, they can attend the next one.

2. Set a meeting place and time.

3. Decide if its going to be just a Meet (ie pub) or a rideout. Post a NEW thread with this information on. Include a poll on the thread asking for people to vote yes or no if they will be attending or not. Then ask them to post on the thread their name so you can see who is going.

4. If a rideout and you need help, ask other members for ideas. Then YOU pick one. Post it up in BIG RED BOLD WRITING so people know.

5. Take mobile numbers of people going. Either via pm, or if you fit the criteria to be put in the Contact section, do that.

6. Day before the rideout, stick a post up in the thread stating that its definately going ahead.

7. Have a great safe ride, meet new people and take lots of pictures.

8. On return to the forum, stick a post up on your original thread making sure everyone got back ok and discuss the great time you had :D
