Warley Cross?

Post by tilertim65 » Thu Nov 19, 2015 10:20 pm

Anyone know whats goin on at Warley? Didn't miss a week this year until it shut for refurb, did bike nights restart? Will they be on again next year?
Me and my lad go up Seaways on Sundays unless Olivers Mount on or A big meeting at Cadwell, bike shows at Squires sometimes as well but I prefer weeknight meets.
Occasionally go haven arms- Hedon but bit quiet and a crap ride through pothole city (Hull).
As well as Warley any other ideas for night meets next year.

the guy that owned it sold up

then it closed for a refurb but I have heard that the new owner is still going to be doing bike nights! to be honest I would too as it brings in the money!

most of the places you have mentioned is all that's about now a days!

Cheers- Old boy who owned it died, his missus and daughter ran it till it sold at auction.
Did go Bluebell in Sproatley on Thursdays after that, not bad about 30-35 bikes one week but it was end of season so didn't last long.
Amazes me Catfoss Café meet still advertised in MCN every week couple yrs after it stopped :tumble:

Log cabin at Fimber (down the hill from Seaways) Wednesday nights, also GMEC bike shop (on Scarborough side of Staxton roundabout on A64) on same night, Whistlestop cafe in Whitby on a Thursday night. Not sure when these start but it won't be long if not already.
