Holliday675 Posted November 1, 2010 Share Posted November 1, 2010 i am now undecided if im gonna splash out on a whole new bike in the new year, so i thought i would take a ride to pure triumph in wellingborough on recomendation by the boss at work.... on either of these days to see if i can get some goodies (special parts) for mine... not really fussed when we leave if anyone is up for it just say what time etc.... then we will sort meeting point from there etc...... oh all weather depending rain = no ride for me lol Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Aaron Posted November 3, 2010 Share Posted November 3, 2010 My instructions that came with them say the bracket that attaches to the engine are 48N/m and the mushrooms that attach to the bracket are 25N/m.The don't require any drilling, hence the bracket. Guest Posted November 4, 2010 Share Posted November 4, 2010 45Nm actually doesn't sound too far off, as crash bungs normally go in the main support bolt for the engine (so don't take both sides out at the same time!)as they're those values, you can borrow the wrench if you like (you may need it to get the originals off - you need a big moment!).
