Canterbury1987 Posted January 21, 2018 Share Posted January 21, 2018 Hello all, just joined to try and get some advise from people who will know!!!Basically my dad used to ride and was part of a bike club when I was small and has an old bsa currently gathering rust at the end of the garden and hasn’t ridden for over 20years. What I’d like to do in a bid to get him back into it I’d get him a bike rental for a day so he can get back on the road. What I’d like to know is, will his lisence still be valid as his current lisence is still the old school paper one, and is there any places that you could recommend hiring from in and around Kent. Yeah, his license should still be good for bikes ( assuming he passed his bike test when he was still riding)......The only problem you may have is that he'd need to hire himself.....I don't think you could hire it for him as a surprise. .... Bonniebird Posted January 21, 2018 Share Posted January 21, 2018 If you think he wouldn't be offended by the idea (after all, it is like riding a bike) some bike training schools do back to biking refresher training where you go out with an instructor.
