Arwen Posted July 27, 2018 Share Posted July 27, 2018 Hey... just wondering if anyone on here wears "hybrid" contact lenses at all?Currently I have RGP lenses for general day-to day use and soft lenses for when I'm playing Airsoft. However I find I end up not wearing my RGP lenses when I take the bike to work, due to the fact they get stuck in the corner of my eyes all the time when doing shoulder checks I simply do not get on with soft lenses at work, I find anything I am reading has "fuzz" around it which ends up giving me a sore head. I've spoken to my optician who says he could get me hybrid lenses (RGP centre with a soft outer "skirt"). They are however a lot more expensive... So, does anyone here use them? mikestrivens Posted July 27, 2018 Share Posted July 27, 2018 Hi [mention]Arwen[/mention] I have recently, last two months, gone on to the Acuvue daily multi-focal lenses and found them a revelation, especially compared to using spectacles, particularly on the bike, and not found any difficulty using them for day to day use and for extensive computer work.
