Fiddling until I rage!

Howdy, and no, not that fiddling.

The attached pictures show a transformer cover that I'm trying to open (so I can replace the transformer) but I'm struggling with what feels like such a simple task that I'm becoming annoyed.

The screw holds a small section that covers the wiring in to the bigger section so I don't need that.

Where I'm having trouble is finding the 'knack' as to how I open that larger part, which I'm assuming is done by the four little 'clips. You may observe where I've used a own life and its gadgets to release these clips, but I can't figure it out.

What's the secret, please?

With thanks :thumb:

Whenever I come across problems like this, as I did with a Gtech vacuum and a dremmel recentley, Youtube is my first port of call and I've had success on both occasions.

YouTube and Google were useless unfortunately!

My guess would be you have to push on the 4 indented area which clip in. Have had something similar and it was total bugger to get off.

Im really hoping not all at the same time.

I've pushed each clip directly towards the case, and pushed them both up and down.

Im losing my marbles I'm sure.
